#MusicaMundo, Brasil


Musica Mundo is an international music meeting held in Belo Horizonte, Brazil from Sep 14-17, 2016. This aims at artists, music producers, festival producers, cultural activists and other representatives interested in developing partnerships to strengthen the music scene and cultural engagement in their countries as well as cultural activists through the sharing of their thoughts at the conferences and round-tables. The aim is empowering the creative industry of the Global South and giving opportunities from this region to engage in exchange projects, learn from each other, as well as contribute to the local cultural development.


Amitava. our Founder Director and Debalina coordinating MusiCal presented about our initiative to develop music entrepreneurship for fostering creative economy and engaging youth in cultural exchange and collaboration programs. They also explored opportunities of exchange and collaborations between Brazil and India.

Darjeeling and Kalimpong Folk Festivals: Celebrating Hills’ Heritage
